Send a report from the extension (0.2.33+)
- Press Report in the extension popup, or on the download page after a problem. A Report page opens in a new tab with the details of that page or download.
- Choose the problem type and add a short description.
- Optionally leave your email so we can reply — thank-you gifts for helpful reports will be sent there in the future.
- Press Send report. You get a reference code such as
KV-7F3A2C. Or press Save report file to keep a JSON copy instead.
Nothing is sent until you press Send report. Sent reports are kept for 90 days and are used only to fix problems.
Useful details to include
Say what you expected to save, whether the stream was missing or a download failed, the approximate time, and the error shown. Avoid sharing account credentials or private media.
Privacy checks
The report tool hides signed URL fields and never attaches video bytes, cookies, or keys. Because URLs and page titles can still identify what you viewed, open “Review report details” before sending.
